Spyro: Shadow Legacy (known during development as Spyro: Action & RPG Light) is the fifth handheld game and tenth installment in the original Spyro the Dragon series of video games. It is a hybrid action/RPG game designed for the Nintendo DS and takes place after Spyro: A Hero's Tail. It is the final game in the original continuity; as the games released afterward, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, and its subsequent sequels; serve as a reboot of the series.
