A four card contract challenges Sprawlopolis. When using Sprawlopolis: Roadwork, each player will get one of these new road cards to start the game. They must either play it at some point by connecting the roads on the card to pre-existing roads or take a penalty at the end of the game. Where we’re going, we definitely need roads! SETUP: Deal out one road card per player. Keep them map side up in front of the players, although players may look at the back. If playing solo, start the game with as many Roadwork cards as you are comfortable with. GAMEPLAY: During the game you may play the road card at any point that it can fit onto the map with all roads connecting to existing roads already on the map. This is played at any time and does not count as a turn. SCORING: At the end of the game, if anyone has any Roadwork cards still in front of them, flip them scoring side up and place them with the scoring cards. Each card has a penalty ranging from -1 to -3 for not placing it. For a harder game, instead of just connecting the roads to existing roads, you must connect each road edge to an existing road section.
