In Spellstorm, 1-4 wizards do battle, casting a sequence of spells in order, slowly unfolding their tactics and overwhelming the opponent with powerful summons, using a never-before-seen new kind of deckbuilding system. Choose from 8 wildly asymmetrical characters with their own unique magical powers. Will you win by having a strong economy, purchasing powerful Diamonds and Dragons? Will you rush them down with red Fire cards? You'll constantly have to adapt your strategy after each battle. Players draft a new card between each battle, slightly shifting their strategy. During a battle, players simultaneously play a card into 4 to 6 lanes. At the end of the last lane (the number of lanes is determined by certain Spellstorm Weather effects), whichever side has more power wins and deals damage to the opponent.
