Ultimately the Allterions landed their Starships and introduced new technology, changing the Eldlandrian landscape and its people forever. Your character lives in this new and chaotic setting, full of possibility, danger and adventure. Your character might be: * A large and powerful H-Class Warrior, sworn to protect Eldlandria. * A freelance Bounty Hunter on the lookout for wanted men. * A tough-as-nails Detective who always seems to find trouble. * A Guardian Protector whose magic is only outshone by her combat ability. * An Arcane Soldier trained by exclusive schools in the art of magic and war. * An Elemental Brawler always ready for a good fight. * A Scout, adept at stealth and reconnaissance. * A Warden Investigator skilled in piecing together the aftermath of even the grizzliest crime. * A Highwayman, who has underworld skills and knowledge. * A Paranormal Auditor, knowledgeable in dealing with things not of this world. * A Phantom Rogue, whose magic and skill let them climb dangerous heights. * A Hatchetman, trained as a spy and assassin. * A Battle Caster, who can be counted on for magical battlefield support. * A Dark Blade, with ancient ties to barbarians and Necromancers. * A Gun-Wraith, master of the twin guns. * An Urban Wizard, versatile spell-caster, telepath and elementalist. * A Greystone Sorcerer, trained to be a skilled and powerful healer. * A Thunder Mage, who is good with ranged magic or with melee weapons. * Whatever you choose to create. Why the name Spellchrome? The term Spellchrome comes from the iconic Spellchrome Pistol. Soon after settling on the new planet, the Allterions discovered that their technology malfunctioned and their energy storage units burnt out once removed from the shielding of their Starships. Eventually it was learnt that the technology could be modified and powered by a person’s spell energy. Energy blasters were among the first upgraded, creating Spell-powered chrome-plated pistols. Although it was later proven that magical prowess (or ineptitude) factored little into a user’s ability to power the new technology, the name has stuck ever since. The game is called Spellchrome because it intentionally mixes the genre of medieval fantasy (the Spell) with the genre of science fiction (the Chrome).
