From publisher blurb: The Speedmaster is a founding member of GUARD team Alpha. Originally Star Athelete he joined the military and was assisgned to a secret military lab. He was hired by an outside foreign interests to "retrieve" an experimental gas. While trying to break out of the facility he was exposed to the gas and he devolped enhanced speed abilities.
