User Summary Spec Ops: Covert Assault was part of a series of games released by Take-Two Interactive at a discount price late in the life of the original PlayStation console. It is essentially a genre game- everything that you would expect in a military-themed shooter. There are multiple scenarios and a variety of weapons, enemy forces, and various team configurations that you can set in order to accomplish your missions. The game was well-known for its high level of difficulty and steep learning curve.
