User summary Späte Post (Late Mail) is a promotional adventure for Das Schwarze Auge. It was a loose insert to Mephisto No. 43. 80 years before the adventure, a bandit chief betrayed his band and had to flee. During his escape, he bade an elven maid to deliver the key to his cave cave to his son. 80 years later, the forgetful elf keeps her promise, but soon after that the grand-son of the bandit vanishes during a great fire in his village. Did he commit arson to cover his tracks or was he found by the descendants of the other bandits? The adventure contains a tactical mini-game in which the characters have to battle the flames and preserve the harvest of the village.
