User Summary In Star Traders: 4X Empires in Exile the player controls an exiled group of humans who, having fled the Earth a hundred years ago, are attempting to establish a new home in the stars. The game is turn-based and involves managing colonies and their associated economies, constructing starships, and developing new technology. In addition to managing individual colonies, the player is tasked with keeping the balance of power between three different factions within the burgeoning empire. Poor faction relations can result in hostilities between the factions, crippling the empire's economy as the factions focus on damaging each other more than keeping hostile threats at bay. And of course, in addition to managing forces internal to the empire, the player has to fend off alien incursions at the same time.
