Their kingdoms have only known peace during their reign, which is why it’s peculiar they now teeter on the brink of war! Recently, the normally placid kings have grown unreasonable, spiteful, and filled with malice. Retainers have fled the kings’ service for fear of their safety, as citizens fretfully ponder the causes (and consequences) of the kings’ burgeoning malevolence. To make matters worse, lizardfolk have been raiding the boundaries of each kingdom, coming from Mistmire Swamp – the vast wetland that defines the border between Yuredale and Norhaven. The lizardfolk have never raided these lands before, and each king blames the other for the attacks! Something wicked is driving the lizardfolk and brother-kings to behave so strangely, and it’s up to the PCs to make things right!
