The dragon’s response was swift and brutal, as fire engulfed Raskoron and Chareshnavoch razed the city, building by building, to the ground, with the survivors making their last stand in the forge-temple, which was also where the eggs were hidden. Unable to breach the underground building, Chareshnavoch collapsed the entrances and trapped the defenders inside, unaware that she had also doomed her own offspring. Though all in the forge-temple eventually perished, the traumatic circumstances and anguish experienced made many rise as undead.
