Adventure Background A noble is the last son of a family that has met an unfortunate end. After receiving word that he had inherited the ancestral home the displaced noble returns with plans to restore his family estate and sell it, and return from where he came. All was well until workers began to complain that there was something amiss in the home. Strange noises and the like. Especially coming from one place in the home. Renovations of the area revealed a sealed set of stairs that descended deep into an abandoned tomb. Disturbed by the strange sounds and possibly haunting, this noble has sent word he needs stout and capable people to open the tomb, clear any dangerous evils or curses, and make it safe to explore and stop the strange haunting noises in the house.
