The players try to prepare the town for an imminent demon assault; navigating the various human factions vying for power, resources, and other, more sinister, goals. From a Cherry Picked Games design post: The Catalyst campaign, “Sins of Seattle”, draws upon Christian morality and apocalypse lore to form characters. The demons are an ever-present threat, but players must contend with humans behaving with reckless self-interest, misguided altruism, and profound apathy. The goal is to have the players muddle through a moral grey-area at they evaluate they own priorities and ethics.
