User summary: Characters are built around Attributes that have a die type assigned (D6, D8, D10, D12) - the best performing Attribute has the highest die type. Actions are resolved by using the die associated with the appropriate Attribute. A natural "1" is a failure and the highest result possible on a die causes it to "explode" into a second, and subsequent, additive roll.
