A Pits & Perils Adventure for 1st - 3rd level characters From the introduction: Fifty years ago, orcs from many tribes terrorized the Duchy of Highcastle, preying on helpless peasants, burning good cropland, and otherwise disrupting the King's revenues in this formerly prosperous region. All efforts to eliminate the threat failed, and the orcs grew bold. As a final insult, they built a temple to their chief deity, Gorush, in the hills of Westhampton, not a day's ride from the old abbey of Saint Gilbert.
