Shugenja

From publisher blurb: Water, Earth, Fire, Air… The Shugenja are elemental masters, unlike anything you've seen for at least an edition and a half. Rather than casting spells normally, shugenja are scroll-casters, preparing and casting their magic through ink and parchment alone. This radical departure from conventional spellcasting requires thoughtful planning, but comes with a host of benefits: sharing scrolls with your allies, gaining the use of blank scrolls, which need not be prepared, and gaining a library of powerful elemental spells. This class comes included with a huge suite of elemental magic to make your shugenja as unique as they are powerful.
