Unlike the first game in the series, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, where the plot centers around Tokyo, Devil Survivor 2 spans all of Japan. It focuses on a set of Japanese high school students who receive an email showing a video of them dying from a mysterious website that predicts deaths. When strange creatures invaded the country, the students form a pact enabling them to summon demons. Like its predecessor, this game also features multiple endings but has enhanced gameplay via a character relationship system.
