From the Introduction: This adventure has been designed for use with the D&D, AD&D and DRAGONQUEST roleplaying game systems. It is intended for characters with some experience but who are not too powerful - in D&D and AD&D game terms, characters of 2nd-4th levels. The inspiration for this scenario comes from the history and mythology of Ancient Egypt. However, it is not intended to be a reconstruction of any historical or mythological event, nor to be set in any historical context. The aim has been to create a role-playing adventure with an Egyptian atmosphere. It is therefore possible to use characters who have not existed in this kind of milieu before, but who have moved into an area of a fantasy world comparable to Ancient Egypt.
