This collection of the SEEKRIEG ship logs, originally released on CD in 2005, represents the majority of the vessels comprising the navies of the United States during the years 1880 to 1945. Any corrections made to the original release are included in this set of files (including all corrections released in the 2/18/2009 CD version and subsequent corrections through 2019). A total of 2,797 ship logs are included and, wherever possible, planned warships, conversions and never completed vessels are also included and based on available information. In most instances, one or more logs are provided for individual ships within a particular class. Major refits or other modifications significantly affecting the fighting capability of a ship are reflected in the multiple logs available for some ships, however, details regarding individual modifications to some of the smaller vessels (torpedo boats, submarines, gunboats and MTBs) are not generally available so a single ship log is provided to serve for the entire class. —description from the publisher
