From the introduction: A Dragonstar adventure for four 3rd-level characters. Ten years ago, an Imperial craft suffered a navigational failure and went down amid the Burning Dunes. Although precisely what the craft carried is unknown, Imperial forces descended on the desert in unprecedented numbers to retrieve the craft and her pilot. After months of scouring the desert, the Imperial forces gave up the search. The cargo and pilot were never recovered.
