Publisher Blurb: A scion character has a parent, grandparent, great-grandparent, great, great grandparent or great, great, great grandparent that mated with a divine or similar being. Further back and blood is so tainted that the abilities lose their potency, although they may still detect as a Scion and their bloodline might be identifiable. Usually, a scion receives his gift at birth from one of his parents, and as the child reaches adulthood, he begins to realize and gain access to those gifts. There is a way to bequeath your Scion ability on to someone of your choosing. There are those that can steal those gifts as well.
