Description

From publisher blurb: Vampires are found around the world as the curse of vampiracy has spread. However, after years and years of vampires being present, a new sect of vampires began to form as the curse of vampiracy has weakened as it has spread. While there are still powerful vampries in existence, a new variance to vampires was born - the Sanguinin. This new race still has a need for blood as sustenance, but they not crave it, and can get their blood from many different sources. While still sensitive to sunlight, Sanguinin have found ways to adapt into societies and even carve out their own clans throughout civilization. Sometimes referred to as “common vampires,” this new generation of vampirism can oftentimes be given the benefit of the doubt from many peoples. Wherever humans can be found, you can find sanguinin, adapting to the societies in which they’ve entered. However, it is much easier for sanguinin to operate within locations around the world that are not apt to having bright sunlight. Places of cloudy overcasts that seem to be a constant draw sanguinin as a people, simply for the need to move about without the pains of the sunlight on their sensitive eyes and skin. Sangunin have fangs as well as red eyes and pallid skin, making it quite easy to identify them if they are not trying their best to hide these features. Multiple societies have accepted sanguinin, but others see them as still associated with the dogma of vampirism. Even if they need blood as a source of sustenance, they can eat, drink, and consume just like any other humanoid. However, they cannot go for an extended period of time without blood, which can be sourced from any beast or humanoid with red blood.
