User Summary: Originally an arcade game developed by Sonic Team, this Sega game is a samba infused rhythm game designed around maraca controllers. Featuring bright colourful graphics, light airy samba music & a cast of cartoon characters, Samba De Amigo was a very different & appealing take on the genre. The music included was a mix of classic Samba themes and Western pop classics redone for the game. For the Dreamcast home release, Sega released maraca controllers modeled on the arcade game. Third party controllers were also available. The game could be played with the regular controller too.
