User summary: Characters in Runestar have several Aspects, including a race (typically dwarf), background, and class. Although a class is defined, in this game is functions primarily as a "high concept" of the character, not a Class in a more traditional RPG sense. Characters have Skills with a numeric rating from -2 to +8, with 0 being the typical default. Original Skill Ratings are purchased from a point pool. The game uses both D4 and DF (Fudge Dice). The document is three pages long; the final page is a character record sheet.
