Adventure hook for use with this map: The Shaman’s Tower: At the zenith of Mount Verdant, a shaman once wielded his power to make hybrid beasts to kidnap villagers to use in sacrifices. In a powerful use of sacrificial magic, he permanently made the summit a place of eternal life. The angered villagers stormed the tower and it was destroyed by an explosion caused by a flaming arrow. The shaman’s magical hoard was left behind by the villagers. The villagers considered it all cursed by the wild magic the shaman had used to make the mountain peak unnaturally fertile all year round and tainted by the blood of their friends and families spilled by the shaman. Adventurers still go to the mountain in search of the shaman’s magical treasures. To get to the hoard, the adventurers need to climb Mount Verdant and survive the roaming magical monstrosities that still live on the mountain, descendants of the shaman’s original experiments.
