Game Info
Rotten Rampage is a solo stand alone game that is included when you buy the token terror board game set. In this game, you are the zombie trying to take over the village. As you progress in the game, you could obtain more zombies in your arsenal, but there is a catch. It is actually not quite easy being a zombie, your parts come off, and villagers have many weapons. In addition, the less villagers there are the angrier they get. Your tenacity will observed, so don't give up. Rounds go on until either the villagers have destroyed 5 of your 6 zombie parts or if all the villagers are infected. Zombie parts are meant to represent your entire armies health tracker, making all your infected targets. This makes your risk of getting damaged higher towards the end. Additionally some of your zombie parts are required for actions. For example, when your zombie head is intact, you can use it to infect villagers by a toss of a coin. These actions are necessary to win the game, but not to worry you there are spaces to regenerate parts. Additionally, each zombie part has a number and each villager has a number attack range from 1-6. Villagers move through cards that are revealed one by one each round. Battle is triggered when a villager and a zombie share the same space. When a battle encounter incurs, the moving phases come to halt until the battle is resolved. During the encounter, a dice is rolled and if the results falls within the range listed on the tile of the attacking villager, then the associated number is detached from the Zombie. Each villagers number attack range is clearly print on each tile, so that you can be see the strategy at a glance. However, villagers could enter spaces that level up their range, which flips their tile over and gives them a wider range of attacks. The tile underneath them also allows them to maneuver in different ways, or take unusual actions. So positioning could become detrimental to success. —description from the designer
