Players take the role of a Pirate captain, hunting merchant vessels and avoiding the Royal Navy to recruit crew, grab plunder, upgrade their ship, and race each other to become the most notorious Pirate on the high seas. Pursuing and battling enemy ships are done using a unique dice system where each player rolls 3 custom 6-sided dice. Upgraded ships have more rolls to attempt to find the symbols they need, but can play cards to aid themselves or hinder rivals in various ways.
