From the introduction: What's All This Then? Back in August of 1999 when D&D 3E came out, I was impressed with the system presented in the books. I thought it would be a great idea to work on some stuff to convert L5R to 3E. I started with the bushi techniques from each of the clans. After a while, I found more and more things I wanted to do. This project got a lot bigger as I discovered what I wanted to change. Well, life got in the way. After a move and some delay, I got back to work. In the intervening time, Rokugan came out. It was great. I thought to myself, "So should I continue?" Well, I saw some things I wanted to add that wasn't there, and a lot of prestige classes hadn't been done yet. So I kept on. I would like to present this as an alternative and an addition to the existing material. I hope it works.
