From the introduction: Rising Worlds is a Tabletop Role-Playing Game. The game is set up by the Game Master who will lead the players through their world. The players will do their best to overcome any challenges in their way while exploring the world that is presented to them. When a player wants to do something, they will announce it to the Game Master. The Game Master will tell them to roll a die, and using their stats, the Game Master will determine if the roll was a success or a failure. This is the core of the game mechanics, but the purpose is to have fun and spend time with friends. This is a D12 system, meaning that players that want to do anything will have to roll a twelve-sided die. Whether a roll succeeds or fails is determined by the player’s stats and the Game Master.
