Gameplay in Rhyme Time is simple. Turn six cards from the deck face up so that all players can see the 24 pictures of simple objects on these cards. At the same time, all players start looking for objects whose names rhyme with one another, such as shampoo – kangaroo or doll – ball. Everybody is trying to be the first one to find a pair that rhymes, and the first one to do so claims the two cards showing the rhyming objects and places these cards in their victory pile. Someone then reveals two more cards, and the game continues. Once all the cards from the deck have been used, and no one can discover more rhyming pairs, the game ends and whoever has collected the most cards wins.
