User summary: Second in SSI's When Superpowers Collide series, RDF 1985 depicts an attack by America's Rapid Deployment Force (RDF) upon an oil-rich area of the Middle East which has been seized by the Soviets. The rules accompanying this game are only a supplement to the earlier Germany 1985 game, first in the When Superpowers Collide series, which means in order to understand this game, players are required to own the earlier title.
