From the introduction: The town fix-it man, nicknamed Wrench, has been missing for days. Wrench is a key component to the town's survival, being the one who has the technical know how to keep the power on, keep the well pumps functioning, and repair the ancient artifacts littered around the former Army base. A search party was sent out, but they haven't been heard from either. If the party can find out what happened to Wrench and his rescuers, the townsfolk will reward them handsomely. Along the way, they will meet up with a rising danger to the area, a raider gang led by some mysterious figures.
