Radiant Heart

From publisher blurb: Tragic are the lives of those born with the power of the Radiant Heart. These good-willed sorcerers who take on the role of sages or oracles bear the amazing ability to cure others of ailments and curses by some divine miracle. Yet, rather than neutralizing these afflictions, the Radiant Heart sorcerers absorb them and suffer their effects in the afflicted’s stead. In the form of self-sacrifice through the power granted by some cruel god, they take on the ills that plague the mortal world, left slowly corrupting to the point of breaking under the pressure of all the world’s evils.
