from designer's blog: This supplement contains 18 new races for Dungeons & Dragons 5E! Five are fully-realized beastfolk races with detailed histories, personalities, and physical descriptions. The other thirteen are archetypes representing various generic flavors of beastfolk. Contents include: Thrummers: Long ago, these humanoid hummingbirds were driven underground. Now they have adapted to their subterranean home. They sense their surroundings using echolocation and drink blood instead of flower nectar. Yikars: These foul-smelling yak-men are obsessed with necromancy. They pursue forbidden magic, regardless of the toll on their bodies and souls. Lemurians: These humanoid lemurs are the remnants of an ancient, magically advanced society. They are a scattered race of traveling bards and circus performers. Polyfolk: These hideous beastfolk are the byproduct of a polymorph spell gone wrong. They can mimic any voice or sound. Lotals: These barbaric axolotls love to fight, brag, dance, or do anything else that draws attention to themselves. They compete constantly to impress the spirits of their ancestors. 13 Generic Races Amphibians Aquatic Animals Avians Beasts of Burden Burrowers Climbers Herd Animals Predators Reptiles Scavengers Sprinters Serpents Tundra Animals
