Description

From publisher blurb: Quick Setting 1:Event and History Generator is a set of random event tables that you can use to generate a quick-and-dirty history of a location - star system, world, port facility, outpost, city, and any other location you can think of. The basic premise is fairly simple - select a scale (the size of the area in question), a time interval (how often you'll be rolling for events) and the frequency of events (the chance an event happens. Any time an event occurs along the timeline, select an appropriate table, and roll D66 to find out the event that occured. From these events, the referee can tie them together into a narrative history of the location. While designed for compatibility with the Cepheus Engine and 2d6 OGL rule sets, it can be used with any science fiction setting.
