A choose-your-own-adventure essay about choose-your-own-adventure books, with an overview on every title ever appeared in Italy. The reader chooses how to go on from a paragraph to the other according to hist tastes and curiosities. The idea was first applied on the Italian newspaper "Il Masnifesto", where a gamebook-article about gameboks appeared on May 28th, 1989: written by Massimo Casa and Andrea Angiolino, was titled "La sorpresa di Ulisse" ("Ulysses' Surprise"). A second gamebook-article appeared the 24th of December 1989 about games to be given as presents for Christmas.
