Every agent chose either to remain with one of these divisions, or to become a freelance operative. In SPA5-04: Operation Snow Pigeon, agents of all allegiances were approached by a mysterious informant called Paradox and tasked with recovering an Agency deep cover operative before he fell into the hands of a dangerous new player on the world scene: The Franchise. Proving Ground is a Terrortory serial — a mission assigned by the agents’ superiors within the Franchise shadow cell. The agents remain a force for good, however, and must find a way to remain true to their ethics and morals while pleasing the cell’s evil leadership.
