From the introduction: This is the second sourcebook for Macross 2050. It contains more in depth information about the Protoculture, Zentraedi, Protodeviln and Varauta. For ease of reference, “Zentraedi” refers to the race as a whole, while Zentran and Meltran will be used to refer specifically to the male and female forces, respectively. Also, the Zentraedi in this book assume reference to the forces that have never contacted Earth’s culture.
