You all get one character card face down in your hand, four cards are placed next to each other and also face down in the middle of the table. Always present are the prince, the princess, the good and the evil witch, as well as the good and the evil wizard. Who else is added depends on the number of players. Depending on which card you are currently holding, you have a certain goal for your turn. The prince and princess want to get married, of course. The evil witch wants to cast a spell on the princess, the evil wizard on the prince. But their respective good versions try to prevent this.
