At its base, Power Trip is a trivia game with a thin veneer of a science fiction theme. The plastic bits are fantastic... but, in the end, it's a trivia game. By successfully answering trivia questions, players are allowed to place their markers on stars in the constellations depicted. Having a given number of stars in a constellation gains control of the constellation for that player. Victory is achieved by controlling the target number of constellations for the game.
