The "unique" aspect of the game is that when players move into the middle (campaigning) track they must declare a political party (Democan or Republicrat) and only one player of each party may advance to the inner (election) as that party's nominee. The game comes with: a board, 6 plastic tokens, two-page rules, 2 six-sided dice, scorepad, two sets of ballots (33 Democan & 33 Republicrat, 6 @ 50 votes & 27 @ 100 votes each), two event decks (25 "Campaign Strategy" cards and 40 "Between the Headlines" cards), paper money, and a "33rpm recording vital to your campaign" with strategy hints.
