Gameplay Pocket Waifu is a Tamagochi game first and foremost, so it plays like an ordinary Tamagochi would - a selected girl has four stats, Happiness, Hunger, Cleanliness and Energy. By keeping those stats up, the player earns her Affection, which is necessary to progress in a relationship. The player can use consumables to increase them, play Minigames or poke the girls to increase their happiness and give them gifts to increase their Affection.
