User Summary: As a tower-defense game, the premise of PixelJunk Monsters is quite simple: Build enough towers to defend your home base from the waves of attacking monsters. The game begins to add complexity with the different type of monsters that attack your base and the distinct towers that are needed to defeat each individual type. If a monster is able to make it through your gauntlet of towers, one of the creatures at your base are killed. If all the creatures at your base are wiped out, you lose the game. The different towers available are: arrows, cannons, anti-air, fire, electricity, lasers, and more! PixelJunk Monsters was released for the Playstation Network in 2008.
