From the game: The rules for Pin are not set in stone. They are a framework and as such, should bend, adapt and grow according to the group’s needs at the table. The basic framework for Pin is: Base d12 + Attribute (Equipment) + Ability (Equipment) – vs – Difficulty The difficulty number may be a fixed number (as for Tasks) or a variable number (as for Conflicts). Each roll of 10+ counts as a single success. If the total number of successes equals the Difficulty Number, you have succeeded.
