Welcome to Pellinoria, land of knights and dragons, jesters and jousts, gold and chivalry. The king will reward the chivalrous, while the queen favours the wealthy. Great fame and glory will be bestowed on those who manage to defeat one of the many dragons that prowl the land, but they will not be able to do so without the aid of a knight. Those seeking a gentler path may make a deal with the merchant, court the princess or gain a small favour from the jester. And the belligerent will seek to harm their opponents by banding with the black knight or by persuading a thief to perform his nefarious deeds. Can you become chief noble by the end of your time in Pellinoria? The game is played over 4 years of 4 seasons each. Before each year, the cards are laid out so that each corresponds to a number. Then, during each season, the players roll their dice, assign pairs of them to cards that match the value rolled and take the relevant actions. At the end of the game, the player with most victory points is the winner.
