Peacock Style

From publisher blurb: Peacock Style is a flamboyant art featuring two-handed weapons, which is infamous across Creation as a style dedicated to intemperance, vanity, and worse. But isn't that the whole point? This mannerly but disreputable school is built on magnetism, deception, and innuendo, and is proud of it. Adherents of Peacock Style dress in bright colors and ostentatious adornments in the very latest fashion. They wouldn’t dream of attending a duel, or even fighting in a bloody war, unless their clothing and cosmetics were unimpeachable. This is the heart of the style. When the Peacock warrior commands attention, he controls what his opponents perceive. They dodge in and out of the path of his spear, letting him set the pace, but are unable to predict the appearance of his dagger — even if they knew it was coming.
