Otomedius Excellent is an Xbox 360 game and the sequel to the 2007 arcade game Otomedius by Konami, which is a spin-off of the Gradius series. Otomedius Excellent features female characters representing different Konami franchises riding on vehicles or equipped with flying armor. It was released in April 21, 2011 in Japan and in North America on November 8, 2011. The Story was a Twisted in War by returning trough Time and Space in the World of Gradius but the Bacteraian Organization was replace into Earth as Invaders and it was a Chronological into Gradius 2 era of Dr. Venom's previous war. In Otomedius Excellent, you can enjoy a new story when you play the single campaign, and when the stages get too punishing, you can recruit up to 5 helpers in multiplayer mode. New characters, stages and BGM will become available through downloadable packs. and the music is now on an epic proportion as composed by Motoi Sakuraba, Takahiro Izutani and other non-konami composers from the DLC BGM Packs.
