An Epic Fantasy RPG Setting From the introduction: The world as it was: The land of Lyntyr (Lin-Teer) has been a place of conflict since the beginning. Men fought each other over petty squabbles for power. It was during this time of civil war that a portal to many unknown realms opened, pouring out terrible beasts of myth and legend. These Behemoths began destroying mankind, forcing them to work together against this new threat. Magic would leak through the portal as well, changing Lyntyr and its people forever. This came to be known as the Behemoth Wars and it would last for hundreds of years. During this time powerful heroes called the Godslayers would come through the portal and aid Lyntyr as well.
