One Red

Publisher's blurb: The Queen Smiles is a cosmic horror fairytale noir game, which makes extensive use of a new mechanic added to the base system of Succession and Chamber+Circle, as well as the supplements Book of Sand and Substitute Reagents. And The Queen Smiles merits a supplement of its own. The 'One Red die' mechanic applies an orthogonal piece of information to the usual two dice, used for Goals and Dangers. The Queen Smiles uses this independent piece of information to help a group define and present the mindset and values of The Queen, an unknowable being with an alien mind. Every time players roll dice, in addition to determining success and side-effects, the group also adds a detail of The Queen's priorities and values.
