From the introduction: This game is about a group of outcasts trying to make it through a time of scarcity. The default setting is a group of homeless people in a contemporary city, but there are alternative settings that could work as well (a neglected planetary colony scrounging space debris, a group of survivors during some sort of apocalypse, the remnants of a village near the ruins of an ancient civilisation). These people have gathered around a common haven and have come up with a unique way of sharing the responsibility of maintaining their improvised home and going out to find the things they need to survive.
