Odin's Eye: Heavy Scout

From publisher blurb: Outfitted with expensive gear, the Heavy Scout is perfectly selected to be the first one out of the ship. In fact, he is a vital, but sometimes overlooked member of the Odin’s Eye. Oftentimes a search and rescue team relies too much on a vessel’s technology and forgets the value of someone with years of experience. Sadly, the Heavy Scout has been doing this so long, he’s forgotten to have a life outside work. With age, comes regret. In Odin’s Eye, the characters are search and rescue specialists aboard a galaxy-hopping spaceship. They’re dedicated, highly-trained, and often sent into impossibly hostile places. Their motto — “No Star Unturned” — serves as a reminder to never give up, even when the mission could spell their doom.
